Today was another great day as we continued our Transformer series. I hoped you enjoyed the glider video as much as we enjoyed making it. Nice job Ben! Maybe we can put it up on my blog later this week. Here are some random thoughts about the day…
- We baptized 11 today! I love it. Our receptionist, Laurie Curl was one of those baptized!
- I want to see “problems” as possibilities this week. I want to dial in to the “what” instead of the “why”. Can you imagine the collective influence Fellowship would have on our community if we all dialed in to seeing the potential of God-sized transformation in our life?
- Have you ever noticed how many commercials on TV are about performance? It is saturated into our culture…even our church culture. I want to place purpose ahead of performance. It’s the motivation behind doing what you do the way you do it. As a speaker I want to influence not impress…
- I’m hoping we dump some serious “invite cards” on our community this week.
- We went 2-1 on the Cremeans family soccer circuit today.
- I’m tired of fast food on Sundays.
- The Eagles stunk tonight…it was embarrassing. I hate losing to NY.
- I love beating the Mets. I was trying to explain the big deal about the Phillies winning the pennant today to my kids. The last time the Phillies won in 93 Alli was 3…and we weren’t near as busy!
- I got to go around to all our children’s wing and thank our workers in both services. They rock!
- You should wear your Phillies colors next Sunday. This will be just what the doctor ordered for a bye week and a 1-3 Eagles start…
- I’m liking the new show “Chuck”…it’s kind of “The Office” meets “24”…
- No, I don’t want anyone to know I watched Bionic Woman…
