Catching Up

Sorry I have been unplugged for a few days…I enjoy staying in touch. I am battling the flu and some fatigue that makes it hard to get going right now and my blog has suffered because of it.

Sunday was a cool day. Talking about how we see the people in our lives is something close to my heart. If you weren’t there, we used some cool props to illustrate our talk…Jeff almost killed me taking me for a ride in the wheel barrel on stage! I hope it will challenge you this week to see the people in your life through the filter of God’s heart. You will never lock eyes with someone that God doesn’t love and long to be in relationship with. Remember, the way you see people is determined by the way you see Jesus, and your relationship with Jesus determines how you treat and interact with people. How I treat those closest to me is usually the greatest indicator of how I am doing spiritually.

So I’m on my way home from church Sunday and Bailey calls me to tell me they bought a canoe on the way home. I guess they saw it at a yard sale and couldn’t resist…Not sure I ever thought I would own a canoe…

I’m really liking the show Chuck…he is the coolest geek I have ever seen. And I must say, I hate it that the cowboys came back and beat the Bills. 5 interceptions and a fumble and they still won…you have to be kidding…I was so enjoying them self destructing…T.O.’s looks of frustration…and no I don’t want any comments about destiny from any cowboy fans…Being an Eagle fan can be tough but at least God didn’t put me in Buffalo…I feel for those fans!
