I realize you don’t really know me, but I used to attend Fellowship Church. I now live in Florida and this past summer, I had the privilege of going on the Russia Mission trip along with Aaron. I was only fourteen at the time of the trip, and was the youngest making the trip over to Russia with the rest of the group. I was very nervous about being with a large group of people that I didn’t really know all that well. However, right after getting on the bus to the airport, I started talking to Aaron. We talked about music and the trip we were all taking.
Once we got to Moscow, we all boarded another bus. Still feeling nervous, I took a seat in the back by myself. Once Aaron got on the bus, he came to the back also. This was a small, yet meaningful gesture and showed the kind person he really was. We talked and listened to music for the next 8 hours. For the remainder of our trip, I had the opportunity, along with many others, to work with Aaron. He was a lot of fun and a hard worker. By the end of the trip, I had come to think of him as a new friend and was looking forward to seeing him again next summer.
When Pastor John called on Friday night, I was in shock and confused. However, what I felt could never compare to the grief you must be feeling. I wanted to write this letter to let you know what great person I think Aaron was and to let you know that my family and I will be praying for all of you.
May God Bless You All,
Morgan McGill

Thank you morgan,
You and Aaron are two terrific examples of how God can use his new generation, not only bless each other, but to bless older folks like myself. Russia '07 will always be in my heart and I hope to make it back there soon and see the impact you, Aaron and the rest of us made. Of course it's all God's and it's His work, but we were all blessed to be part of that group. Again, thank you for sharing your heart about Aaron. We'll all be together again someday!
