Blown Away

Last night I had the privilege of listening to our worship team go through their sets for Sunday and Monday. I was blown away! They have improved exponentially over the last six months. The very first song I heard brought the tears. You see, I have always believed that our God deserves excellence. I would go away to conferences and hear the music in large churches and dream of the day when our band and vocalists would be on that level.

Things were so desperate here in the early days that I used to help lead our worship. YIKES! I have some funny stories about that but will save it for another day. The fact that God would trust us with the skill and talent that we have now is a testimony to his provision. Where there is vision…God will give provision. Two and a half years ago was our big step when God brought Jeff Ream here. Under Jeff’s leadership this team has continued to grow and improve to where they are today.

This is the kind of Christmas presentation that you will WANT to bring your friends to. Don't make the mistake of underestimating what God will do. You will be proud to say that you are part of what God is doing at Fellowship. They are working so hard to give their best in a season that celebrates God giving his best…Jesus. Now it is time to do our best…our best in the way we set up and decorate tonight…our best in the way that we pray for God to show up in a huge way…and our best in the way that we invest in and invite our friends this Sunday and Monday!
