Love My Kids

So it’s 11:30 PM and I am staying up late tonight and watching a movie with Alli (my oldest daughter). I must admit I’m not feeling very “manly” since the movie we are watching is Music and Lyrics…but enough of my “issues”…the point is its awesome spending quality time with my kids. I’ll feel it tomorrow (we’re pulling out the midnight snacks – a Cremeans gene issue) but it will be well worth it. Thirty years from now Alli will never remember how much I worked or how well I preached…okay maybe she will remember that…but seriously, she will remember these kind of times…staying up late with her daddy watching stupid, funny movies, while we “stole” Mom’s food out of the refrigerator that she had planned for dinner this week. Good times with my girl…

Tomorrow is Drew’s 10th birthday! He is my “chili-cheese-tater” boy that likes to shoot at anything that moves. It’s hard to believe he is 10 years old (Michelle is getting old). He was 3 when we came to Fellowship…so tonight I am thankful for my kids. They bring the “magic” to my life…the energy and the passion they have already inspires and motivates me. Thank you God for my amazing kids!

You`re such an awesome dad! You are the role model for us all. Those times spent with your kids will be rewarded. Your kids will be more stable than most others and will love you dearly all your life. You cannot give too much time to your kids! Thanks for setting the example!

Thanks John for being the father to your kids that I never had. I so love to watch your interactions with them and it only brings a smile to my face and warmth to my heart. I am blesses to know you and your family. God shows me things I need to see in order to help heal the wounds of the past. And the ironic thing is, I don't feel sad, but rather so very happy, fulfilled and content. I so love seeing the love!
Thank you so very much!
