Missions Giving

I am really excited about a number that I want to share with you today. In 2007 we had $238,000 come in towards missions. This included Faith Promise (regular missions giving above your tithe), our Christmas offering, Manna giving (helping feed children), missions trips, and some designated gifts. That works out to an incredible percentage as 26% of everything that came in for 2007 went towards some type of missions work! God is using Fellowship to support missionaries, build and fund feeding centers, feed and evangelize hungry children, and to take people where they can experience missions work up close whether it is in Camden or Russia. To give a little perspective on this number – it is more than the total income of Fellowship Church when we came back in 2000. How cool is that? As my sister likes to say…this is a “Yea God Moment”! I have heard it said that if you want to see where a church’s heart is than look at how they spend their money! Thank you Fellowship Church for investing in the lives of people who need to hear the good news of Jesus and thank you God for using those resources for your kingdom.
