I wanted to update you on Elk Creek's launch Sunday. Sounds like it was a great day. We need to keep praying for them and lifting them up. Pray for their pastor, Mike Silliman and his family. Giving birth to a new church is an all encompassing task. Here is Mike's report on the day...
Hey Everybody,
Whew...we did it! NO...actually God did it!!! First of all...let me say to my team...GREAT JOB!!! You guys were incredible, from set up to welcoming people to helping with the kids program to the sound/video techs to the worship team...I am so proud of all of you and love all of you very much! Here are the quick stats...121 people! 72 adults, and 47 kids. There were many first time guests that said they would be back next week! The best part of it all...4 decisions for Christ!!!
Now the work begins with contacting each first time guest, nailing down our small groups including a new believer class, and preparing for next week! Thanks for all of your prayer and support!
