Sunday was powerful. Michelle told me on the way home that we needed a dose of reality when it comes to thinking about what we will pass along when we leave this side of eternity. Being at the graveside of my Grandparents was surreal for me...I wish you could have all met them and had some of Grandma’s cooking. Remember, God is still writing the pages of your story. Let’s do our part to make sure the best is yet to come.
It was great to see Barb Smith at the keyboard Sunday. She is a great example of the “best is yet to come.” Way to go Barb! I’m proud of you and more importantly God is proud of you!
My brother Buddy calls Monday the “holy hangover”. Sunday’s are draining for pastors and staff. Yesterday we had our usual 2 services, 3 soccer games, and then Fusion. Yikes! I hung out at Big Cheese Pizza during Fusion and ate for the first time Sunday while watching the cowboys lose. Lasagna and a cowboys loss…does it get any better?
Sounds like our students had a great time a “college for a weekend” at Liberty University. Ryan and Jess took 10 of our best with them to Lynchburg for 4 days. My oldest daughter Alli said they had a blast.
I’m bumming today for one of my good friends Dave B. who lost his Dad yesterday. We know he is with Jesus and we are very thankful for that but it always hurts to see a friend have to say goodbye.

I hope you planning on posting that video here!
I found the service very powerful! It has me thinking. I haven't been to my dad's gravesite in some time now, but I am planning a drive there this week. God has truly been testing me and my life as well as those close to me. He has been putting me in situations that allow me to help those who need to hear about God. I want to leave a lasting impact. I pray that I can help others see how amazing a life following God is! If we open our eyes, we see that God creates mircles in our lives everyday! I hope to use my life experiences as proof that God has a plan for everyone. We all have our own legacy.
Sunday's sermon was very moving. It has me in a prayerful and thoughful mood. I am trying really hard to be quiet and listen to what God's plan is for me.........
It should be good to go Ray.
You are on your way Anita. You are the kind of person that inspires others! That is already part of your legacy. Your dad would be so proud...
God loves for us to be still Una. Keep listening...I'm glad he has brought you and Paul our way!
