Live Dangerous

I have already received some great feedback of people stepping out of the “cycle of sameness” this week. Way to go God! Saturday night was a tremendously meaningful night for me as I was privileged to participate in the renewal of marriage vows with Gail and JoAnne Oxley. What an incredible couple and an amazing story of God’s grace intersecting with people in a tough situation. I just want to say what a blessing they have been to me and thank them for letting God use their story to touch so many of us in our “live different” series. They have inspired and challenged me in many ways. Thank you Gail and JoAnne!

I also am touched by the grace of this couple. My husband has an illness, too, and I want to learn from her how to live in the present and how not to let the fear of death taint my thoughts. More importantly, (tongue firmly planted in cheek), that dress is GORGEOUS and Joann looks fabulous (so does Gail, but the DRESS, oh my!)!!!

Thanks, Debbe!! Through God's grace, we have evolved through this illness to the point where the illness has definately been given the very utmost back seat. I would be happy to talk to you at any time. Just send me an email at joxley522@yahoo.com with your contact information.

John - I, too, have stepped out on other limbs - I have always wanted to learn to read music and play an instrument. On Monday, on the spur of the moment, I found myself buying an acoustic guitar and signing up for weekly lessons! Gail thinks its great :)
