Michelle and I had a great chance to reconnect with some great friends from our past last night. Fifteen years ago (They are getting old) Michelle and I led a student ministry in Fort Worth, Texas. Greg and Kelly Wagner and Daryl and Terry MacDonald were our leaders that worked with us. Last night was the first time we were able to be together as a group since we left Texas. We had a blast! I really love these guys. Too bad they are Cowboy fans (nobody is perfect). We laughed and had a great time reminiscing about some of the crazy things we did back in our “twenties”. It was encouraging to see how they have grown and developed as leaders in their church. We hope to make this an annual event when Michelle and I come out to Texas for the C3 conference.
Half of our team has made it in and the rest will be here in a couple of hours. I am really looking forward to tonight’s kick-off! Please, please, please, be praying for us and for our families that we left behind. I can’t overstate how huge this week can be for Fellowship Church as our team is challenged. God has given me a fabulous group to work with. One of my responsibilities as a leader is to make sure they are developed and stretched to be all that God would have them to be. I hope to lead the way this week as God stretches and challenges me. I have been praying big-time for a supernatural outpouring of his spirit on our group.
On a side note my Dad is having his most difficult recovery day since his surgery. His medication that he takes is all messed up because of his surgery and that is taking its toll on him, plus they took him off a lot of the pain meds today. Please continue to pray for his recovery.

Hi Pastor,
I have not had a chance to write you about the service Sunday, I was so moved by God's miracle in your fathers life. I lost my step-dad to lung cancer this past June and to hear that your father was healed by the healer was amazing !! I hope the rest of your trip is great and you all grow stronger together in what the Lord has in store. God Bless - Matt
Thanks Matt. You have got to come to this conference with me sometime. I am sorry to hear about your loss of your step-dad. This entire journey has given me a new perspective on the terrible damage cancer can cause to people and their families.
