I want to introduce you to a friend of mine today…his name is Tim Chambers. Tim pastors one of the great churches in the Northeast called Shore Fellowship Church. They are located in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. For those of you who vacation in Ocean City, New Jersey (most of our church) you should check it out. Tim and I went to school together a long time ago back in Missouri. Things have changed a lot since then. Tim is a Michigan guy and a huge Detroit everything fan. Don’t hold that against him because he is just staying true to his roots (I still think he should become part of the culture here and switch over to Philly as his second team).
I read on Tim’s blog this week that his church is going to be featured in an upcoming book on twenty of the most innovative churches in America. How cool is that. Those of you who like to read blogs should check Tim’s blog out. Tim has a passion for his relationship with God and and incredible burden to reach the Northeast with the love of Jesus Christ. I hope to have him come speak at Fellowship sometime in 2008.

John - Thanks for the shout out. I feel it an honor to serve God, especially in the Northeast. As for the Eagles, I think I should root for the Jersey team, the New Jersey Giants. lol
Way to go Tim! Way to score for the Northeast. My prediction...God is going to do amazing things in the Northeast in the next 5 years. Lots of churches will be planted, many lives will be changed, there will be more unity in God's family that hasn't been seen in a long time. It's not just my prediction...it's my prayer!
