I worked from home yesterday and enjoyed just chilling some today. Michelle has been under the weather – she is working through a pretty good cold, but the worst seems to be over. I got to watch Emily play some good soccer yesterday – her team has really improved and she is learning a lot. Yesterday it occurred to me that watching her compete has been one of the best parts of my life…top 5 for sure! I don’t know how so many parents sit there and are so quiet. What’s up with that? How can you not cheer when your kid is out there kicking some butt! I wonder if that is the same feeling God gets watching us sometimes.

We had some surprise guests today…always cool when our friends drop by. It doesn’t happen too often now that we are out in the country. Have I said lately how happy we are at our new place? It doesn’t get any better than this for us. I was putting the chickens away tonight and playing with our labs thinking how awesome it is. Michelle has me converted…I’m going to work on posting some more Catalyst notes tonight so you can share in our trip. Tomorrow is going to be a great day as we close out our Transformer series. I have enjoyed it in a big way.
