I just got home after a long day of travel and shopping. I’ll be out of town next week so I had to get ready for Alli’s birthday on the 24th and we are celebrating Bailey’s birthday (he was with Michelle in Springfield on his real birthday) on Monday before I head to the airport. I love buying the kids stuff! Right now Grace, Drew and I are watching the Celine Dion special (Joe Walsh from the Eagles is playing the guitar – love that dude!). Alli keeps walking by and making fun of me for watching this....Whenever I am away we always “break the rules” when I get home so we are staying up way past bedtime having some make-up Daddy time. I love breaking rules…even my own!
I’m still overwhelmed at God healing my Dad. He is still in ICU because of a high fever but he should be moved into a regular room tomorrow. I wish you could have seen him with me last night. You could tell he was in a lot of pain but he was happy – happy for us. I didn’t get to see him today but he somehow left me a voicemail telling me he missed me. What a trip I had. Being with Kristin and Buddy was awesome. We took Mom out and had a celebration dinner after seeing Dad in ICU.
Tomorrow I get to celebrate with my Fellowship family…Can’t wait! Tomorrow I want to post an email I received from Brian Hasson that deals with Dad’s surgery from a doctor’s perspective. It’s pretty cool. I hope you will throw some comments back Brian’s way whether you know him or not. He has been such a blessing to our family.
Oh I almost forgot…don’t be giving me grief for watching Celine…I know, I know…
